Consumer Packaged Goods
Over the years, I have designed a huge range of consumer products and their packaging. At retail, a product only has a few seconds to grab the attention of potential consumers. I have led cross-disciplinary teams in producing packaging that conveys value, quality, early learning, or fun. Some of the challenges in designing packaging include shelf space, fitting multiple languages into small spaces, how to differentiate from the competition, how to educate the consumer, and how to attract attention. Below are packaging solutions in various formats, devised to solve a range of challenges. These items were sold through retail channels including mass, big box stores, boutiques, and direct-to-consumer kiosks.
